Of course, pirates, spies and rogue fleets come after the Lupettis and crew. The odds of threading the needle of Jump Gates and reaching a derelict station on nobody’s star charts becomes increasingly steep.
When an old enemy, Lutzak Jingo Kötü Marek, goads Lupetti into fighting a duel, the outcome does not go as planned. Only the restraint of Ndari’s brother, Kadek, prevents Lupetti’s wife from killing the Jingo on the field of honor. But a journey to the House of the Silent Moons still awaits them, and Aurelio Lupetti never fails to surprise his superstar Diva wife.
